Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 20, 2026
This site (ividi.dev) is operated by David Arsénio Martins ("Vidi"). It's a personal portfolio - no user accounts, no forms that save data, no tracking cookies. This page explains the little there is to explain.
Cookies
- This site sets no cookies at all. We only use your browser's localStorage to remember that you've dismissed the privacy notice, and the browser's own Service Worker to allow offline browsing. Neither of these is sent to us or to anyone else.
The AI assistant (Agente Vidi)
- If you use the chat widget, your message is sent to Google's Gemini API to generate a reply about my background and projects. Messages aren't kept once you leave the page.
- To prevent abuse, your IP address is used briefly to limit how many messages can be sent per minute (via Upstash Redis). It isn't stored permanently or linked to your identity.
Direct contact
- The email, GitHub and LinkedIn links on this site take you directly to those platforms - anything you share there is handled by them, not by me.
Your rights
- Since we barely hold any data about you, there isn't much to request - but if you have any question about this, or about a conversation you had with the assistant, reach out at the email below.
Changes to this policy
- If this site ever starts collecting data differently, this page will be updated and the notice on the site will reflect that.
